Mont Royal
Another set of pictures from Montreal, QC. Mont Royal, the city's namesake, is a mountain (technically an extinct volcano) that lies in the center of the city. On its peak, there is a park and an amazing outlook over the south side of the city. The giant cross pictured below stands on the other side of the mountain, another icon of Montreal. It was originally erected centuries ago, though it was replaced and furnished with lights in the late 19th century.
