Olympic Stadium and Botanical Gardens

This Olympic Stadium was constructed for the 1976 Olympics in Montreal. It towers over the east side of the city, and is even visible from the Mountain. The structure is simply massive but when I visited it was closed down and seemed almost abandoned and run-down, giving off a strange Ozymandias impression. The structure pictured below hovers over the dome-like stadium and sits adjacent to the bio-dome and the Botanical Gardens, which we visited afterwards.
